This programme of German motets from the 17th–18th centuries ranges from the austere to the joyful, from intimate solos to sonorous works for full ensemble, interweaving voices, baroque violins, baroque cello, and chamber organ.

The concert features exquisite music by Heinrich Schütz, J.S. Bach, Johann Vierdanck, Johann Rosenmüller, J.C. Bach, and Dieterich Buxtehude.
